Overseas racers
There will be 30 slots (in total) available for the 100 mile and 110km races for racers signing up through the RUNNET GLOBAL website (available only for racers coming from overseas). These slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

You will need to create an account with “Runnet Global”
 beforehand in order to register for the race.

Race RequirementsFor both race categories

・Non-Japanese racers living outside of Japan.

・You must be 18 years old or above.

・Trail running is a sport that takes place outdoors. It is thus very important that you are aware of and fully understand the potentialp roblems and challenges that may be encountered while out on the race course (e.g. weather, physical and mental challenges).
You are responsible for yourself during the race and you must possess the skills to be able to deal with such issues in order to participate.

・You must have confidence to be able to complete the race within the time limit and without getting lost.

・You understand and agree to the accommodation requirements (*see below) set out for each race category.

(*) Accommodation requirements: With the exception of local residents,all racers must stay in accommodations arranged by the race. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as these accommodations are members of the local tourism associations that organizes and provides the staff that makes this race possible.(For international racers, see “ Accommodation ” for details)

100miles

・You must stay in an accommodation arranged by the race after the race on Sunday, Sept 15.

・You must have finished a minimum of 1 trail running races over 100 km long within the cutoff times during the past 4 years (Jan 1, 2020 – Apr 9, 2024). 

All racer qualifications will be checked upon registration.
The trail races can be either in Japan or overseas.
The following races will not be accepted:

・Ultra-road marathons held on paved roads

・Stage races (except for those races with 100km+ in distance per day)

・Informal races that cannot be verified as well as pre-races that do not have verifiable finish times.

The race organizer will be the one to make the final decision as to whether a specific race qualification is acceptable or not.

110km

・You must stay in an accommodation arranged by the race on the day before the race (Sat. Sept 14) and after the race (Sun. Sept 15)

Note:

*No refunds provided once you’ve registered for whatever reason.

*Race bibs are non-transferable and race category may not be changed.

*Part of the entry fee will be used for trail maintenance and environmental conservation activities.

*Please note: It is customary in Japan for race registration sites to charge an admin fee system usage charge.
This fee of 12% for international entries will be added to your registration when signing up for the race.

Pacers
Pacers are allowed to accompany the racer from the following sections:
100miles:
Cutoff point #3 Kurohime ~ Finish Line (Highland Hall)
110km:
Cutoff point #2 Sasagamine ~ Finish Line (Highland Hall)

Note: After you register for the race, you will receive an email from us regarding your lodging reservation. After you register for accommodations, we will email you information about the convention shuttle bus.

Group accident insurance is included in the entry fee however if you are coming from overseas, it is highly recommended that you enroll in an overseas travel insurance plan that will cover you for the duration of your stay in Japan.

Awards

1.Awards for the top 10 finishers in both the male & female categories.
(Prizes for the top 3 finishers)

2. Wooden trophies engraved with your name and finish time for all finishers who complete the race within the time limit. Trophies will be mailed to you after the race.
In addition, 100 mile finishers will be given a commemorative buckle.

3. Priority entry rights for next year’s race for the top 10 finishers in both the male & female categories.
