International/Overseas Race Entries

This year the race will be held from September 14 -16, 2024.

Non-Japanese racers living outside of Japan can sign up for the race through the international/overseas registration system. Race slots of 20 will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

100miles:  Saturday, September 14, 2024 / 18:30 race start
110km:  Sunday, September 15, 2024 / 5:30 race start

Location/Area
Shinetsu Kougen (Niigata Prefecture – Myoko City; Nagano Prefecture – Nagano City, Shinano Town, Iizuna Town, Iiyama City)

Race Requirements

100miles
＊You must have finished a minimum of 1 trail running races over 100 km long within the cutoff times
during the past 4 years (Jan 1, 2020 – Apr 9, 2024).
All racer qualifications will be checked upon registration.
The trail races can be either in Japan or overseas.
The following races will not be accepted:

・Ultra-road marathons held on paved roads
・Stage races (except for those races with 100km+ in distance per day)
・Informal races that cannot be verified as well as pre-races that do not have verifiable
finish times.

For both race categories

The race is organized by the local tourist bureaus in the Shinetsu area. As such, as part of the race requirements, all racers (and pacers) are required to stay at accommodations designated by the race organizer as follows:

100mile: On Sun. Sept 15(after the race).
110km: On Sat. Sept 14(before the race) and on Sun. Sept 15(after the race).

Note:
＊The we will provide accommodations for overseas competitors.
＊Accommodations are available in English.
＊After you have entered the race, we will ask you about accommodation reservations (accommodation
dates, number of people, etc.) by e-mail.
＊The accommodations are located about a 5-minute walk from the race registration area.
