Rules for Supporters

  • No shuttle buses are scheduled for spectators. Please use public transportation or your own vehicle to travel between locations.
  • There is no limit on the number of people allowed at assistant points, but space is limited. Please refrain from occupying space for extended periods or taking excessive space, and share the area courteously. Please also be considerate of solo runners (those without support crews).
  • Pets (except service dogs) are prohibited at the National Myoko Youth Outdoor Learning Center (100 mile).
  • Support for runners may only be provided within the designated assistant area. Support outside this area is strictly prohibited. Additionally, only runners and pacers are permitted to enter the aid station itself. However, supporters may provide food and drinks (no alcohol) that they have prepared to runners within the assistant area.
  • Small portable stoves may be used only in outdoor assistant areas (use in parking lots is prohibited). Open fires, and the use of any heating/cooking equipment in indoor assistant areas or outdoor assistant tents, are prohibited. Please exercise extreme caution when handling any fire or cooking equipment.
  • In outdoor assistant areas, you may reserve a spot in advance (not for extended periods) and set up small tents, stoves, chairs, tables, etc. for support. Indoor assistant areas and outdoor assistant tents are provided as shelter in case of rain (but may be used regardless of weather). Advance space reservation and the use of portable stoves are not permitted in these areas. Some chairs and tables are provided by the race organization.
  • Massage for runners is permitted. However, please be sure to take all waste with you. Please also take care not to soil the venue or its facilities.
  • Please do not dispose of your waste in the trash bins at aid stations.
  • Touching runners, handing items to runners, guiding runners, or running alongside runners outside the designated assistance areas will be considered unauthorized support and will result in the runner’s disqualification.
